Which one is more effective

In my opinion I believe that Malcolm X methodology was more effective than MLK. I think this because violence works better than the silent treatment or the nice treatment. If notice that people in life or death situations you can make them do anything and change their opinions for good. MLK methodology help the civil rights movement too his civil disobedience had no violence and was very effective to achieve what he wanted. Even though doing it MLK way could probably take more time than Malcolm X is not violent at all and they don't hurt anyone. But violence is faster and at times even more effective than trying to be nice and kind to people.

I'm Poem

I'm lunch counter sit-in
I wonder if I'll ever see the end of this
I hear hatred form the mountain tops
I see no change
I want equality for all
I' am lunch counter sit-in

I pretend that I will see equality @ the end
I feel hostility burning through my flesh
I need love & good will @all times
I worry that this will never ever end
I cry internally to show no display of weakness
I' am lunch counter sit-in

I understand the misconception of these people...
I believe unity is soon to come
I dream of peace b/w all humanity
I try not to awake from such a realistic thing
I hope for this dream to come true
b/c
I ' am lunch counter sit-in

Sexism

This image is sexist because it show that all women should be like Grace Kelly beautiful and famouse. And that not all women are ladies like Grace.

Influence of TV

I truly believe that the media does influence what teens do. It is a proven fact that young girls turn obsessive with being skinny cause that's what they see on TV. Young males come obsessive with having muscles and impressing girls too. Media influences what teens wear, what they say, how they act, and even how they confront problems with friends, family, and relationships. Also how to act and talk to their partners about sex and other important things. http://www.crisisconnectioninc.org/teens/media_influence_on_youth.htm

The Gossips

In this painting the two men seem to be arguing about something. To me the two old men are arguing because one of them took his girlfriend and the girlfriends boyfriend came to confront him. He yelled and pointed at his face and the other guy was like me no blah blah.
